Buffalo Stance

I seem to only update this blog to promote the latest show I'm working on. Guess what this update is about? Yeah, another month, another show. So, without further ado, here's the information on my next production. I'm directing this one.

Off Main Street Players
Zionsville Town Hall
1100 West Oak Street
Zionsville, IN 46077
Friday, April 29, 8:00 p.m.
Saturday, April 30, 8:00 p.m.
Sunday, May 1, 2:30 p.m.
Friday, May 6, 8:00 p.m.
Saturday, May 7, 8:00 p.m.

Tickets are $15 each and that includes all the laughs you can handle. Here's the plot taken from the Off Main Street Players website:

It's 1953 and George and Charlotte Hay are on tour with a reparatory theatre in Buffalo when news arrives that Frank Capra is enroute to catch their matinee. Fate has given these thespians one last shot at stardom. Filled with madcap misunderstandings and misadventures, this delightful comedy is a love letter to live theatre.

The cast is:

Paul Gootee - George Hay
Patsy See - Charlotte Hay
Whitney Shouse - Rosalind Hay
Dave Charles - Paul
Byron Hodges - Howard
Jean Adams - Ethel
Susan McClelland - Eileen
Jon Weed - Richard Maynard

They're all very talented and are doing a great job. I've seen it about 20 times now and they make me laugh every time, which is hard to do. (You become desensitized after you've watched the same play 20+ times in a row.) We open in eight days and I'm looking forward to listening to a fresh audience react to it. I think it's going to be a big hit. Come see it if you get a chance. You won't be disappointed.

Regular updates coming soon. Maybe. If I feel like it.
